Mike Olson
President
The founder of OML, Mike has over 30 years of wide-ranging construction experience from his early days as a carpenter in BC to managing complex projects in the Canadian Arctic. He guides the company’s overall leadership, strategy, and business development. Mike's humble, straight-forward, and honest approach to business is validated by OML's numerous long term client relationships.
Russ Scoffield
Vice President, Pre-Construction & Risk Management
Russ has an extensive background in project management and 25 years of experience in commercial retail construction, primarily in the Northern Alberta market. He provides the overall management direction for project planning, scheduling, resources, and budget tracking for all areas of the construction projects. He oversees project management strategies for design, procurement, tender process, contract negotiations, their award, and commissioning.
Steven Nickoleff
Field Resource Director
As a "big-picture guy" and OML’s chief superintendent, Steven is proactive in all areas of his work. He manages company resources (manpower and equipment); handles field-level acquisitions, terminations, and performance reviews; and acts as the liaison between the field and the office. He also provides confident leadership and promotes OML’s values to stakeholders.
Dave Wheadon
General Manager, Commercial Operations
Dave joined OML in 2007 and has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He is involved in the overall management and supervision of commercial projects. He leads change management in creating operational efficiencies, effective reporting and monitoring, and strategic growth. He deploys the training and development programs in the company and ensures our teams are always growing.
Mike Slobodan
Business Development, Prairies Region
Mike joined OML in 2009 and brings sales experience from construction and other industry backgrounds. His roots within the Edmonton community run deep. He understands the growth and vision for this city and the province of Alberta, and works with our new and existing clients to make these visions reality.
